Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a hospital in Detroit, MI to provide an Ultrasound Tech traveler to help fill a temporary need in their Ultrasound department.
This position has full-time hours for a period of 13 weeks and the facility is looking for a Travel Ultrasound Technologist who can start as soon as possible.
The Travel Ultrasound Tech must have at least 3 years of experience working in a hospital setting. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday.
